I self installed some yarn braids just before xmas. Took me two days from the 22nd to the 24th - eek. and it took me 2 hours to burn the ends. 






The ends photograph brown, but they aren't that brown in person. my camera is HD, so it picks up every minute detail. LOL

Super cute!! I love yarn braids. I just put some in  myself :D Nice bun too. How long did you do them?

What type of yarn did you use?

And you're right about the copious amounts of time it takes to do them.  Burning the ends is the worst because flicking that lighter over and over hurts.
Got my jersey dress on. Jordan heels match my press-ons.

I found a box of candles, so that helped with the lighter problem.

They are just past my shoulder. On top of my boobs Embarrassed LOL. I'm slightly worried about cutting my hair when I take it out because I have some random long arse parts. I just took out some bra stap length ones and didn't want anything too long.

I used 100% acrylic yarn by Patons. it is quite thick, so I split each piece into 3 parts. I read that Red Heart Super Saver yarn is similar.
