So my locs are great, I am really loving them, only thing I don't like is how much parting I have, they are medium size so I know I can afford to split some up. They are only 3 weeks old so It would be easy to do. I am thinking about letting my loctician split the ones on the top half of my head and leave the others. I need to know if this is safe or even realistic. I don't mind them being different sizes, it might be pretty cool, I'm just wondering if anyone has done this before, please let me know thanks :D Check out my loc pics at tumblr (jocelynsjourneys) and I will also try to post some here but I'm still new to this site. Thank you!

i would strongly advice you not to do it.
it will weaken the integrity of the loc and they will disintegrate in the long run :( . since they are only 3 weeks old, unravel/take them out and redo them.
