So I have brought the sampler pack of shea moisture for chemical treated or dry hair. 1. the shampoo was just okay.... I followed with the masque, and to boot steamed it in.... Left musch to be desired. my hair came out dry as ever. So I rinsed that and applied the smoothie. It added a bit more moisture, but nothing more than just using a regular 5 dollar conditioner as a leave in. I sealed with the elixir, and did like that. Would I buy again? No. I am finding that simple products work better for me. Like Hello Hydration as a co-wash and leavin. NTM used the same, and Garnier Fructis (dark Green package) used the same. I have 4a/4b mixed texture hair.... KEEP IT SIMPLE SISTAH!

Agreed! Sometimes keeping it simple is best! Use the products that you have the best results with and if you want to add something into your regimen do it but w/ caution. The Shea moisture masque made my hair dry. BUT the shea moisture organic shea butter balancing conditioner was GREAT!

I love the shampoo but the conditioners being used as a rinse off conditioners was the WOAT move for my hair.  I tend to use the conditioners as a night time moisturizer and it works out better for me.
