I wear wigs but I need to stop neglecting my own hair!!
Once it gets to a good length I want to start getting it braided again.

Get it braided as soon as it get too long or it will be a tangled mess.

i live in towns that the majority are Hispanic.
Before that? i lived in a big city where the majority of my co-workers were from the East. (India, China, Russia, etc)..
I sure will be glad when i can take off my short wig and stop the "chuckles" and the assumption that blacks can't grow our hair.

i find it funny when one person comes on the forum, makes a fool of herself, (with only 4 posts), then comes back on under a similar name (with only 1 post) , and tries to argue with themselves, or pull the "Mutt and Jeff" routine.
That makes a person look twice as bad. Or they look like they have a multiple personality disorder.

Anyone have a remedy for dry scalp? My scalp gets dry and flaky a week after washing it.

someone just had this problem on here. some of the suggestions were exfoliating the scalp (baking soda, brown sugar and coconut oil), tea tree oil (diluted), salicylic acid shampoos and acv rinses. drinking plenty of water.
