Ohhh...I love the undercut idea. I wish I had thought about it when my nape was growing back out. Good luck and post pictures.

If you sew it onto a net first you can make it as thick as you want it to be.

Sew-in then cut, because I think you will have better control of how far up you want your undercut to be.

I wasn't sure how I felt about the undercut idea, but it looks good. Plus if you have the confidence to rock it, you can pull off almost anything.
