So I'm new to BHM and I know this is kinda off topic but i went to post a new topic and it wont let me... Am I doing something wrong??? Guess I'll just ask now, I've been natural for about 1 1/2 years and I've been wearing it in a wash and go using cantu products for about the whole time and I've noticed that my hair doesn't seem to be growing as well as it was before. From reading the other post I've realized that if been seriously neglecting my hair. What would be a good regimen to jump start my hair growth. I have really dense 4c hair and it's about SL when stretched. Thanks in advance for the advise Smile.

Will my natural 4c hair change? I just started but right now it's dry and brittle feeling. I'm spritzing my hair with water and aloe juice. I moisturize with either Shea Moisture yucca thickening milk or curl smoothie. I seal with sweet almond oil. Will it always feel rough or change overtime?

I wish u all the best of luck of going natural. The important key of going natural is moisture moisture moisture ! I worked with aestelance revitilizing balm (works fantastic on extremely dry n unruly hair) and kinky curly knot today mixed with kera care everyday butter cream moisturizer .. give that a try while transitioning from relaxed hair to natural

The best ways to care your hair.
1. Wash them with a good n reputate shampoo.
2. Wash them with particular time interval.
3. apply conditioner.
4. eat what is more beneficial for it.
thanks

just coming in here and seeing this, but in case anyone has the same question, my answer is it probably will...likely the reason your hair feels like that is because you may have not yet found the best moisturizer for your hair.  try using a moisturizer that has glycerin and water in it. i have 4c hair too and glycerin works wonders on my hair.  and i use a heavier oil than sweet almond.  try jamaican black castor oil (jbco) and see if that works.  coconut oil usually makes my hair crunchy and dry feeling so try to weed out what ingredients may be making your hair feel Dead.  our 4c hair is by default dry, but our hair can be moisturized and feel soft and bouncy too. hth! Smile
Beautiful Hair is by design.
