I know i just posted a question asking about braiding in austin but I want to also find a place that will care for my hair and flat iron it every once in awhile. I want to find someone who knows truely about hair care and not about the style! I cant do my hair own my own. My sister has a chi and i cant even get it super straight with that and she wont help me:(. Isnt that a mean sister? i'd really appreciate some help! And if youre a stylist this is your way to advertise!

I just graduated from UT Austin and the only salon I tried while out there was The Hair Clinic. I am natural (fine 3c/4a) and have had the following services done there: straightening, trim, and most recently a sew in. I would recommend making an appointment with Rita for your natural hair needs. Rita was able to answer all of my questions and even gave me a few helpful suggestions on nurturing my hair. Also, she never trimmed/cut off anymore than was needed. Overall, I have absolutely no complaints about my experience with Rita; however, I am not sure that she offers braiding services. HTH! :)
