So I went to Jamaica for memorial day lovely but hot, anyway I kept seeing post of ladies raving about kinky curly which is a texture I never tried so I gave in.  Got my very first 20 inch 2B KC unit and I HATE IT lol I really really do this is not for me. I bleached the knots put some subtle highlights in and cut off some of the bulk and I think it's about 18 inches now playing around with it which did help.  I hate when I have time constraints because your always rushed into buying something you know you will end up hating.  It doesn't look bad but it's not for me here's a pic of me sitting next to a friend and all I can do is stare at her hair and how great it looks then my hair ughhhh.  Welp i'll be selling or trading this unit cuz this is a texture I will never try again.

I think it looks great on youClap

Try using some Cantu Leave in conditioning creme on the hair while wet....this will help to keep it tamed.

BTW, why is it that you don't like it??

Thank you for the tip but this will probably go to the back of the closet never to be seen again or sold I just can't with this hair.  It's nice hair i'm probably just used to the texture of CVR, bodywave and loose curly I've never been one for tight curls but I wanted to try something new.  Not to mention it is a little more work then I'm just to take off scarf comb and go with very little product, this hair has to be nurtured and prepped not for me.

It's very pretty. Maybe you can finger comb or brush the curls out to give it more body. They may be a tad too tight.

Fellow North Carolinian, I am so sorry that the KC didnt work out for you. they can be a beast to maintain, especially taking it all the way to Jamaica and it being your first. But if you need to find her another home, and she fits, feel free to shoot me a pm- I will gladly take that sucker off your hands, pick her out real nice, and she and I will live happily ever after...

There is absolutely NO LOL, I am so serious. Dont throw her to your closet, make your money back and sell her to me.

Sincerely,

Qualified

are the curls too tight for you?  do a bleach bath and see if they loosen or boil it to a more loose texture.

LOL.  I was just lookin' at some kinky curly's for possible summer hair.  I can't tame them worth a damn but the fuzziness makes it more realistic IMO. I'm sorry she ain't work out for you.  She looked gorgeous on you..... imo.  Qualified will give her a good home though.  LOL  KC's luv Qualified.
