Thanks Afro
I was so shocked I mean just unraveled on its own. I'll wait till I'm
fully matured to wash with the Dove again. For now I'll just use Dr.
Bonners and use my natural oil mixture for moisture.
The vinegar has a bad smell but if you rinse a total of two-three times
with lukewarm water the scent won't be as strong. Add on if you use Gel
unsure if Aloe has a scent (never tried) but I know my Murray's gel has a
strong fruity smell and it overrides the ACV's stench.

Oh leave in for about 2-3 minutes I used 2/3 or 3/4 of a c. I have a small container and I just use it straight pour all over gently. With my hands gently massage the vinegar all around (with my stocking cap on).

I didn't mention that I re-started mine with Coconut Milk conditioner, Olive Oil and Coconut Oil...they are holding up really well thus far.

Thanks ILHW
So, I got a lot of new growth going on right now (when I just leave it be, it grows a lot faster than usualy), and a lot of my twist weren't twisted in the same direction (which is what happens when someone starts, goes to sleep..she was really tired, so I let her sleep....and I finished the rest), so I had to interlock them (just a one point rotation), so that I could do a light wash and twist them up tomorrow (My mum suggested it, since they do look a bit scraggly and it's the holidays). I decided to do that, so that way, all of my twist will be done in the same direction, and there would be no confusion for the future. So, I'm going to do my first twist, and I am determined not to do my next set until the end of January/early February.

Awesome. Lov You know why your probably eating well, resting, and rinsing/steaming your locs with water. Water intake is probably (I know) far better than mine. Another thing you'll get it down packed doing your own locs if you ever run into restarting the process. My parts are far better than the last 2 sets I did on my own.
I made two interlocking tools you can try to do this as well (cheap less than 2 for paperclips). One tool I used 2 paperclips and a glue gun I'll take a pic but its hilarious since it looks like a huge caterpillar cocoon but clear. I think I'll wait 4 month mark to interlock my locs at the size they are (larger than the last set are holding.)
I went to Michael's Tuesday looking for a latchhook tool first of all the cheapest one was 2.99 and the nice slip resistant one was 12.99 add on the one I purchased lol cheap one the closing piece wont stay put sigh. The indian hemp gave me a reaction on my scalp talk about on fire. I have to spray two times a day with my Jamaican Mango lime spray add to it wash my locs again.
Also I'm a member of nappturality. no longer lurking. So Im so happy about that waiting 3mo and the loc section is AWESOME!

Merry Christmas family. I tried to dye my hair bronze with blong high lights...But being that my hair is naturally jet black you already know what happend: Day glow orange roots. SMH
I already had box of red (hi rez) and one of my sisters in my circle of artsy friends hooked it up for me. This is the result.
I was so sleepy in these pics.
Still not sure about the color and the root situation. It's growing on me though
I'm probably going to re dye it again this weekend. we'll see.

Afro, did you use a chemical dye, or what? That colour looks really nice on you!
Here is my hair a day after I re-twisted it...I think it came out alright (I have no close ups, I should invest in some)
