From what I read so far on other threads (I'm no expert myself), some ladies say it can last them 15 days. But you have to press on clean hair, deep condition after washing, use heat protectant and moisturize with oil (no water-based products),

I've only had it done professionally once myself and it only lasted 1 day Ouch but I now realize that it's probably because my hair was not freshly washed and full of products when the hairdresser did it (at the time, I didn't realize I wasn't supposed to do that - LOL)

Anyway, hope it works out for you!

I think it depends on your hair texture

I have 4b hair, so my hair stay straight for about4 days. But for my cousins with 3c and 4a hair. It seems to not last as long. That's just what I've noticed

Short Term G: MBL(stretched)

^^^^ Only 4 days? I'm a 4B as well... Did you wrap your hair at night? What products did you use? From what I've been reading, I think you can do better. Hopefully the more experienced ladies will chime in...

I'm a 4a/b and I guess I can get it to last about 7-10 days (I usually wash it out by day 7). I usually clarify and do a moisturizing DC before I press though. I find that I get my best results then. I saw some youtube vids with ladies blowdrying then using a flat iron but I refuse to put that much heat on my hair.

You know, I can't remember. I've been flat ironing and wrapping since I was a teen. Even then, my mother was behind me to keep my head in a scarf everytime I was in the house. It might've been longer then but I generally don't really care to keep my hair so straight anymore.
