It's pretty hard to suggest things because everyone's hair is different - what works for me will not necessarily work for you. That being said, maybe you should visit this thread: http://forum.blackhairmedia.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=278442&title=hair-product-review-thread

It has tons of reviews on products that many members have used.

In my experience, water has always been the best moisturizer. I would mist my hair with some and then seal it in with some argan oil, coconut oil or shea butter. Maybe you should do a hot oil treatment and then follow that by a moisturizing DC.

Here's my current list of items (I tend to stick to all natural products if I can):
Leave-in: Giovanni Direct Leave-in (diluted in water and mixed with glycerin, 10 drops of lavender, 10 drops of peppermint oil & some jojoba oil).

Deep Moisture Treatment: MOP Extreme Moisture - it works well, but it contains parabens so I will not be using it again.

Conditioner: Herbal Essences Hello Hydration - my hair ridiculously loves this conditioner, it provides great slip but it seems that the formula was recently changed in the US and it now contains sodium hydroxide.

I've heard great things about Redken Extreme Anti-Snap leave-in and Herbal Essences Long Term Relationship leave-in. Aussie Moist is supposed to be a good conditioner as well.

Have you tried oil rinsing? I have 4b hair and  saturate my hair with EVOO (extra virgin olive oil) then put on plastic cap. EVOO penetrates the hair. Detangle with fingers, rinse with warm/hot water, wash, condition (for me aussie moist) detangle with wide tooth comb then rince with cold/warm water. When I go to style it I put Shea butter on my hair in its melted state (meaning I heat up in microwave to liquid form)

increase your number of conditioner washes and either seal afterwards or add in an oil rinse as MISHA advices. And always pre-poo if you're using a shampoo.
this healthy natural hair journey is harder than expected!

I agree with everyone who pointed out that everyone's hair is different. That being established, I have found caramel treatments to be very moisterizing. You might also want to invest in a conditioning cleanser (i.e. Wen) these can be pricy, but again, very mositerizing.

Here is a recipe for a caramel treatment http://thehairnistarecipes.webs.com/carameltreatment.htm

Hope this helps.
