Good Afternoon Curly Ladies!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you for the compliments!
I am sure we all had a rough last week, if you know what I mean. So I really didn't feel like posting much.
My hair now: STILL IN MICRO TWIST (PICTURE IN MY FOTKI) TODAY IS WASH DAY, I AM DOING A SCALP DETOX (WILL POST RECIPE LATER)
I am also starting a 30 day intense GHE personal challenge. I will post the regimen and results at the end of each week. I am currently very busy, so once I show myself that I can keep up the routine for 7 days, then I will share. I want to be consistent and go the full 30 days.
HAVE A BLESSED DAY EVERYBODY! I HOPE YOUR HAIR GOALS ARE GOING WELL!
LET ME KNOW IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS. PEACE AND BLESSINGS TO ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hi everyone, I'm still GHEing. I've been doing it twice a week lately. I've also been doing protective styles more often.

I don't have to moisturize as often and my ends are healthy. I trimmed my hair about a month ago and haven't measured, so I have no idea what's my length right now. I've run into a set back with my relaxer stylists. None of them knows how to apply relaxer properly and health consciously so my hair has been suffering because of them. It's finally getting back in shape and I'm on the look out for a better stylists. I'm thinking of Hairs 'talent, but that's two hours from nj.

I have been suffering from hairloss for like 5 years. Until recently actually! I found this product: http://sevenreview.com/health-beauty/hair-again-hair-growth-story/ Now my hair is starting to grow back (after 2 weeks). Doctors are amazed. So happy

Thanks for sharing and sorry to hear about your hair setback. Since you are wearing a chemical I think it would be worth the extra hours trip, if they will do a good job. But only you know your gas money and time, lol. Hopefully you can find a good stylist closer to you. Or go back to your stylist and walk her through how you want it done. If she wants the money she should go along with your request. Even if she feels like it is wrong, maybe she can have you sign something so she will not be liable if she follows your request and it does not go well. I know that many times the techniques that are posted on these forums are not conducive to proper salon techniques. I am not saying they do not work for some, but some professionals have a problem following them. I really feel if you speak with your stylist, she may work with you, so you do not have to waste extra gas money traveling so far. Blessings to you!

This routine works really great. As a natural girl I was having trouble with moisture (it is winter) also my ends always looked damage. Since doing this. I have not had to cut my ends so much so my hair is able to grow.
THANKS LADIES

Good afternoon! It is so good to read the comments about the GHE helping with your dry hair and other hair issues. It has definetly worked wonders for my hair. My scalp is feeling marvelous! I will be back to share tommorrow about my personal 30 day challenge. It will be a full week tommorow. So I need to stick with the schedule for discipline. Being consistent is so important in achieving your hair goals or any goal. So if you are not being consistent, start over today. Do it for yourself! Blessings to all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good day curly ladies!!!!!!!!!!! I am on day 8 of my 30 personal GHE challenge. And I have been consistent.
About 2 weeks ago my scalp was itchy and I felt like I had a lot of buildup on my scalp. Although I wash my hair twice a week and only oil it maybe 3 times a week. So I felt like my scalp needed something extra besides just shampoo. So I made a sea salt scalp detox, I massaged this detox into my scalp, massaging my hair follicles. The salt scrub had other natural cleaning ingredients in it. Then I rinse the scrub out in the shower, I rinsed for at least 3-5 minutes. Because I did not want any of the salt to be left in my hair, cause this may dry it out. It was easy to rinse because my hair is in braids. Let me tell you my scalp was feeling so clean and free after this treatment. I now do this weekly.
GHE update: I decided to do the GHE every night for 30 days just to see what results it would render. So this is day 9. I will keep you all posted!
Growth Update: My hair seems to be growing really well, I have to tighten up some of my twists. So when I take a braid out, I measure just for fun. I have gained 1/2 inch in the last 2 weeks. Awesome!
That is all for now! But more to come! Hair growth keep coming! Going for waist length by July, which is the month of my family reunion.

Good afternoon to all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We all love hair growth right? I know I do! I have 4 weeks left on my micro twist hair style, but my hair is growing so fast, I do not know if I will be able to keep them in for another 4 weeks. Thanks goodness, I do my own hair, because everyday I am tightening up at least 7 twists.
Ladies if you want your hair to retain its length while it is braided, then do not let your new growth just hand there. Once you get to 1/4 inch of new growth, especially around the edges and the back nape area, get those braids retightened. Letting your new growth just hang there while the extension swings on it, will only cause breakage. I know this from experience. I did my first set of micro braids in 1983, so I learned a lot through trial and error.
Blessings to all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
