This sounds fun. I just braided my hair last weekend, & plan to rebraid right b-4 ThanksGiving.
Regimen: Oil scalp w/MN mixed w/ORS lotion & EVOO nightly, pre-con w/eggs honey & evoo, Wash w/moisturizing poo & con every 3-4 wks when I remove braids.
Supplements: 1000mg MSM & 1000mg flaxseed oil daily
Current Length: 2-3" all over natural about ear length on the sides
Desired Length after challenge: chin length on sides, 5-6" all over
I don't have a fotki, but gotta digi cam, I'll try to work it out!! I'll probably add more products for moisture as I go along & I'm thinking about changing my poo & con. Not sure yet.

I want to join, too. I got braids in July because it was too hot for a press and curl in LA and have had them (not the same ones) since. I might wear my hair down for my birthday in January, though.
Braid Regimen: Clean scalp with sea Breeze Once a week, oil with Gueye's Mother Nature's Super Grow once a day, use Infusium and Braid Spray daily. Redo every 6 weeks. Take GNC HSN vitamins daily.
Current Length: Approximately shoulder length
Desired Length after Challenge: Howsoever long it winds up.

Hey! I wanna join too. I always seem to miss the challenges. Well, I'm getting mine on Thursday and my hair is mid neck length..gotta measure to see how much that is. I'm half natural, half relaxed (not on purpose ). I think I have about 3" natural but I won't cut all my hair off cuz I've cut off about 6" since going natural b/c of my various hair experiments
I've tried various extension techniques but think braids, twists, weaves, and maybe wigs (w/ cornrows) are the best to protect the hair.
My regime isn't fully developed, but I plan on doing this:
1) Crown and Glory braid method
2) MSM 3000mg (currently take, seems to work)
3) Hair growing essential oils (I think jojoba is one and Wonder 8 oil has it as its main ingredient-cheap too)

I'm probably going to stick with bra strap legnth individuals with synthetic hair. I've been playing around with mixing different colors lately. Right now I have a 1b/35 with a deep gold mix. Maybe I'll change the color.
