What do you guys do about the crunchy ends after you flat iron. It looks like split ends. I mistakenly cut them off but everytime i flat iron i get these ugly looking ends. How do you avoid those?

Pull a fine-toothed comb through your hair at the same time you are pulling the pressing comb/flat iron through.  Run the fine-toothed comb through just a couple inches ahead of the iron. This means you will have both hands occupied simultaneously. Works every time for me.

I put heat protectant then use the hot comb.  For some reason, SOMEtimes my ends will do this (on my freshly cut hair).  I just take the hot comb and a towel and comb through those ends and press them between the towel and the back of the hot comb.  works everytime ;)

I agree with the other ladies, I have texlaxed hair and used to get crunchy ends without doing the "comb chase method". I was having difficulty using a rattail comb and flat iron at the same time so I purchase this comb and it makes it soooo much easier.

honestly if i flat iron my hair i never make it straight, so i just leave my ends as they are (they are the loosest part of my hair, so it looks ok)

my hair ends up look similar to this

Are you serious???!!!!! All I had to do is use a small tooth comb?!!  I've been cutting my hair since March trying to get rid of those things and they come right back! Angry

Instead of the fine toothed comb, I used an natural boar bristle brush and it got the ends really smooth:)
