i was searching through the braid forum and it seems like there aren't any braid challenges going on ( correct me if i am wrong), so i was thinking that maybe we should start a new one for september to january. during the challenge you can wear any braid style that you chose( w or w/o extentions, twists, individuals or corn rows , tree braids, etc) or sew in's.. feed back would be greatly appreciated and then we'll go from there

I'll join if the thread remains active. I noticed other challenges become dead if gals don't update often enough.
So Ebonynicole - 3 of us have said yes. What do you want to do?? Take a look at the twists section because there's a 1 month challenge & in growth there's the 6 mth ps challenge.
I'll check again in a few days to see if you made a decision. My hair is mini braided so I'm wearing the style anyway.

i say yes too! im also doing the september slackers challenge ( but that's only a month)
i guess i'll leave it open for others to join for the month of september!
a few things we need to do... post ur:
-begining length n pictures
-goal
-regimen& how you'll be wearing your hair ( i guess you can post pic's of ur braid ups, twists, or weaves)
- and if you have a fotki, photo bucket account, or anything like that u can post ur address
- last check in @ least 1x a week
and we'll post our last pic on new years eve or new years
im so excited !! does any one else have any ideas to add

--my begining length in the front is collar bone length and the back is i guess u would say shoulder length
-- my goal is to get to apl( don't know if it'll happen but i just want to grow as much as possible)
--regimen: moisturize n seal in the a.m. daily, spray peppermint spray on my scalp and massage w/ bb growth oil at night, ghe nightly. out of braids: oil rinse, dc and str8 back in braids/ weave/ twists etc..
how i'll be wearing my hair: well in august i had senegalese twists i still have them but i'm going to turn them into braids and probably take them down in october.. other wise i plan on wearing braids, twists or weave

well since the other ladies are already braided we can start .. but if any one else wants to join they have up until the end of the month to start.. so by the end of september everyone e should be set n ready to go!!! does that sound good? this is my first time starting something like this so bare w/ me.. r u still in? |
