Ok, so I've had a few interviews. Mostly customer service type or dealing with people in some way. I have NOT been getting hired! I normally do well on interviews untill recently.

My locs are 2 months along so not yet locked w/some frizz. I've tried wigs as well btw but why wear a wig to an interview when that wig is gonna come off if hired..ya know? Anywho what do you all think?

Yes. Have you tried styling them? Even though they are short doesn't mean they can't be styled. You dnt even have to style them ALL the time cuz I dnt. I wear mines out, in a pony, etc. Curls also kinda gets you by when your hair nerds retwisting or frizzy. At least it does for me. Keep at it & you'll get something

I haven't styled them b/c they're so "soggy" lol..I posted pics in the other thread "Can Interlocked Locs be UNlocked" everyone tells me they're not locked so I can't curl them! And lawd if I do it myself it'll be a mess..I live in uptight ass Washington DC

The reality is that you really won't know if you're not being hired because of the locs or something else...there are still some small minds out here. I know that there are a lot of natural hair shops in DC & MD....it might be worth a few $$ to go to a natural shop that could provide some styling guidance on how to manage/style your babylocs. I did sport a wig when I first got my job and a year later walked on in, with my locs, like it was just like any other day! My feeling was....who cares if folks know I was wearing a wig all this time...but I'm not knocking anybody else who might not feel comfortable doing it.

You can always wear a wig. I mean its a tough pill to swallow I have to wear wigs at work not because they say I HAVE TO. Its because I'm going through the ugly stage :-(
