She is cute...makes me wanna have a baby...then I visit my friends and watch their bad kids which makes my ovaries dry up and say heck nah...jk...not really...not all my friends have bad kids...I did almost choke one though...do not believe in violence...

Anywho back to the topic...I do get them when I do not tie my hair down at night...when I do I do not get them...I am talking about a fitted tie and not a bonnet...then again I have a TWA...my TWA is long enough to get cornrows now so I will be getting it braided for awhile...do not want to deal with my hair...

Keeping it stretched and well moisturised works for me. I rarely use heat so I braid it or do South African plaits like these when I wash it & I also air dry it like that. I keep it like this all week under my wigs:

You get a great textured effect, similar to twist outs(too much time and effort for me) when you finger pick it out. So much so that I don't see the need for blow-outs. We use cut up stockings tied into long strings or wool(drenched in moisturiser/spray) in a pinch.

The pics are from an awesome South African blog called FroChic, run by 2 natural ladies. The last pic is a vintage shot of one of the blogger's mom's from the 70s. So fly!
