What's the benefit of latch hooking it in vs regular twisting it in? Someone school me.

Adding in extension hair to create twists in your natural hair looks more natural. Because you can see your scalp and it flows more like your natural hair. The extension hair just creates length and thickness and enables the twists to last longer.
Latch hook: is added to a cornrow base. You natural hair is cornrowed down, then with a latch hook tool or your fingers it is tied into the cornrow base. You can create parts but you see very little scalp, because you need to cover the cornrow. Also the latch hook takes less time and a creates a much fuller look than just extension twists.
So Extension twists: Take longer, but flow better and look more natural
Latch hook: Takes less time and creates a very full look.
