Abitmore your hair is beautiful  when i first started, my hair also stayed the same length for 2 years. i couldnt figure it out until i realized that my stylist, even after i told her i was growing my hair out, was trimming off my growth. if you grow 1\4" a month and your stylist trims of 1\2" every 2 month you wont see growth.

Thank you Tatee! What you described is what I am going through. I am trying this year not to trim my ends as much. I really want to reach bsl by the end of the year.

i've just been sticking to tucked under ponytails. its the easiest thing to do with my school and work schedule. especially since im going back to the gym on top of it all this week

i finally straightened my hair and dusted the ends. the ends werent as bad as ive been imagining for the past 3 months but damn is the straightening process brutal. after this pic, i immediately braided it and put in two buns. i never know what to do with straight hair

How is everyone doing in this challenge? I've been so busy going to school and working full time hours but i've been doing ok with making sure my ends aren't hanging down. Got my hair straightened in the dominican salon on friday, even though its flat i like it, i'm actually toying with the idea of transitioning, its just a thought now though. we'll see

why didn't i find this challenge until now??? this is exactly what i need!! i started protective styling mid february. and so far so good. i'm trying to get to apl. so this should help. i have a fotki (the link is my siggy) to keep track of my styles and i'll do hair growth updates when ever i feel..
so check out my fotki!! i'm in some box braids right now, but when their out i'll take a starting pic
