 So Ladies,
I really think we could do with a 6 month hide your hair/protective styling challenge to get the ball rolling!
So, here are the rules copied and pasted:

RULES:Hide the length of your hair by wearing it in protective styles. That can be wigs, weaves, buns, braids, twists, etc. as long as your length is hidden and your hair is kept up off your shoulders!
You can take picture updates, but do not allow them to be publicly seen.
You are allowed 3 free passes to wear your hair out. That's basically a pass every two months.
DO post a starting picture! (and a final picture at the end!)
Check in as needed. If you are struggling to find styles or losing motivation, check in so we can support each other.
Last but not least.....ENJOY THE LENGTH YOU RETAIN ONCE THE CHALLENGE IS OVER!!!
The Challenge will take place from January 1st to June 30th, 2012! You will have until January 15, 2012 to post a pic and join!

PLEASE CHECK IN OCCASIONALLY!

HOW TO UPLOAD PICS:
 posting a pic is made easy if you have a fotki,  tinypic, photobucket  etc account.   So:
Set up an account
Load your pics 
Select a pic you want to post in this thread
Click the share option (applies to fotki)
Click the hotlink image (applies to fotki)
Click the link that will post the pic to a forum- clicking automatically copies the link (fotki)
Paste that link when you post a reply.  Preview your post to make sure it worked. 
If you click thumbnail - you'll post a tiny pic in a thread.  HTH! If anyone knows of easier route, please correct me
